Updates To The Woolworths MySchool Programme

SAFMH News Room

Woolworths has announced that the MySchool, MyVillage, MyPlanet and WRewards cards have merged to create one bigger and better “get and give” loyalty programme called Woolworths MyDifference.

The goal of this new programme is to empower customers to support the causes they care about most, while providing greater visibility of the positive impact of your contributions.

What This Means for You

  • The MySchool programme, in its current form, will no longer be active.
  • To continue supporting The South African Federation for Mental Health (SAFMH), you will need to join the new MyDifference programme via the Woolworths app and select SAFMH as your cause by 30 June 2026 (date subject to change).
  • Joining the MyDifference programme is free.
  • After the selection window closes on 1 July 2026 (date subject to change), new members will have 30 days to choose their cause.
  • Beneficiary selection will now appear under the “My Causes” section of the Woolworths app.
  • Woolworths will also be phasing out physical cards and introducing a virtual MyDifference card on the app.

Please note:

  • MySchool and WRewards cards remain valid until 31 March 2026 (date subject to change).
  • Starting 1 April 2026, these cards will no longer be functional.

Why Join MyDifference?

In addition to supporting SAFMH at no cost to you, MyDifference members enjoy:

  • More exclusive vouchers and personalised promotions
  • More chances to Play & Win guaranteed prizes
    — all conveniently available on the Woolworths app.

We kindly ask that you join the MyDifference programme and continue your invaluable support for our mission to make mental health a national priority — because there is no health without mental health.
