Depressive Disorders – There are a number of mood disorders that classify as depressive disorders, such as major depressive disorder, dysthymia, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder and premenstrual dysphoric disorder >>

Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia) – chronic form of major depressive disorder >>

Major Depressive Disorder – pervasive and persistent low mood that is accompanied by low self-esteem and by a loss of interest or pleasure in normally enjoyable activities >>

Substance Medication Induced Depressive Disorder – prominent and persistent change in mood, exhibiting clear signs of depression or a marked decrease in interest or pleasure in daily activities and hobbies, and these symptoms start during or soon after a certain substance / medication has been taken, or during withdrawal from the substance/medication >>

Depersonalisation Dereleasation Disorder – recurring episodes of depersonalisation, derealisation, or both >>

Dissociative Amnesia – inability to remember important personal information that should be successfully be stored in an individual’s memory and ordinarily would be readily remembered >>

Dissociative Identity Disorder, also known as multiple personality disorder – disruption of identity with two or more personality states being present in the same individual >>

Major and Mild Neurocognitive Disorders – previously known as ‘dementia’ >>

Delirium – disturbance in an individual’s awareness of their environment, ability to focus and shift attention, and confused thoughts >>

Major or Mild Neurocognitive Disorder due to Alzheimer’s Disease – neurocognitive disorder (either major or minor, depending upon its severity) that has a gradual onset and progression in cognitive impairment >>

Major or Mild Neurocognitive Disorder due to HIV Infection – Individuals with HIV may develop major or minor neurocognitive disorder (NCD), also referred to as HIV associated dementia >>

Major or Mild Neurocognitive Disorder due to Huntington’s disease – cognitive impairments tend to increase in severity as Huntington’s disease progresses >>

Tic Disorders – classified into four categories; Tourette’s disorder, persistent (chronic) motor or vocal tic disorder, provisional tic disorder, and other specified and unspecified tic disorders >>

Brief Psychotic Disorder – sudden, short-term display of psychotic behaviour, such as hallucinations or delusions >>

Schizoaffective Disorder – combination of schizophrenia symptoms, such as hallucinations or delusions, and mood disorder symptoms, such as mania or depression >>

Schizophrenia – withdrawal from reality, illogical patterns of thinking, delusions and / or hallucinations, and accompanied in varying degrees by other emotional, behavioural, or intellectual disturbances >>

Substance Medication Induced Psychotic Disorder – psychotic episode in which an individual experiences hallucinations and / or delusions, as a direct result of a substance / medication that they have taken >>

Schizophrenic Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders – there are five key symptoms that define schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders: delusions, hallucinations, disorganized thinking, grossly disorganized or abnormal motor behaviour, and negative symptoms >>

Sleep Wake Disorders – encompass 10 disorders or disorder groups: narcolepsy, insomnia disorder, breathing-related sleep disorders, hyper-somnolence disorder, circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders, restless legs syndrome, rapid eye movement (REM) sleep behaviour disorder, and substance/medication-induced sleep disorder >>
