On 14 & 15 December 2024, Donovan Lindeque will aim to swim 1000 lengths of the swimming pool at the primary school he teaches at and he’s doing it all in the name of raising awareness for mental health.
Lindeque, a physical education teacher at Randpark Primary, wishes to raise funds to promote mental well-being and provide resources for those in need. Donovan has also struggled with his mental health in the past and would like to use this platform to raise awareness about men’s mental health and the importance of speaking up.
By sharing my story and getting a different perspective, it helped me to go see a doctor and ask for help.
